They have a son called Rowland who is 1 year old who was born in Llandegley.
Living with them they have Janet Davies, a 14 year old domestic servant who was born in Llandegley.
1901 Census
William is still the School Master at Llandegley, but this would be his last year here.
It appears he was not resident at the School when the census was conducted but has been recorded as a “Visitor” at Baileymawr Villa in the village.
Elizabeth now has her occupation given as Assistant School Teacher, but she is living with her father and her sisters at Upper Mill, Llanfihangel Rhydithon, which is approximately 5 miles from Llandegley.
Their son Rowland is also at Upper Mill and it appears that they had another son called Archibold E. Hill who was born in Llandegley and was 7 in 1901.
