First slates started going back on the cloak room roof today.
The small window and roof area above the toilet block roof is proving problematic. When the toilet block was constructed in the 1950’s little or no care was taken to ensure there was no water ingress from the where the new structure joined the existing school house wall and how the valleys functioned with the small windows roof area. Over the years this has been a major source of damp in the building.
