The second stage of the ceiling removal was to remove the large suspended plywood panels.
The cross beams that supported the ceiling will need to be removed but the intention is to stop at this point as the danger is that removing them may disturb the roof slates and as it may be a few months before the roof slates are replaced it feels best to leave them as they are at the moment prevent any further rain ingress.
