The scaffolding at the front was removed today.
It seems a long time since we had seen the front of the school!
The white UPVC soffits were an attempt to recreate the look of the boards had been there originally but in a more servicable material. White was not the first choice of colour for the soffits, we had settled on black initially but the price of the black boards made them prohibitive with the budget we have. Now the white is up it appears to be have been a better option, it provides a contrast to the slate and the black woodwork and allows the detail of the beams and crosses to be seen.
